Vampires of Targoveni

Vampires of Targoveni is a fan-made alternative version of the card game Werewolves of Miller’s Hollow (Les Loups-Garous de Thiercelieux in French). It uses the same basic rules, but the cards themselves are changed to generate a brand new experience.

Werewolves of Miller’s Hollow is a hidden role game opposing a team of villagers against a team of killer werewolves. In Vampires of Targoveni, the werewolves are replaced with vampires, and the rest of the cards are also changed for new versions with different names and powers. This version is intended for players already familiar with the base game, as it adds a bit of complexity.

The intention behind this remake was to make the players interact more with each other and plan their moves more carefully, simply by modifying the mechanics of the cards. The result was an emergent game that often created very intricate and fun end-game situations, without adding over-complicated rules to the base game.
